Even if the trilogy was only ever released in 144p, it would still be some of the best cinema ever made

Take a moment to appreciate how perfectly the movie was cast. Not a single useless character, not a single bland actor, all roles, even the relatively most minor ones were impactful and memorable. Its like stars aligned to make the perfect movie trilogy for ages.

Can't wait to see Bilbo's freak out in 4k so I can finally have nightmares in 4k too
