• 3-Paragraph Critical Assessment — consensus from IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic, plus critic excerpts and where sources diverge
• AI Verdict — a clearly labeled AI-generated take on the film

Data Sources

We pull ratings and data from authoritative sources:

• OMDb API — IMDb ratings, Metacritic scores, Rotten Tomatoes aggregates
• TMDb API — cast photos, crew details, box office figures
• Manual Research — critic excerpts (short quotes, fairly attributed) from editorial sources

Editorial Standards

Every movie page cites its sources. Ratings are fetched at the time of publishing, and critic excerpts are kept short (under 15 words) with clear attribution. Our AI verdicts are clearly marked as AI-generated and are meant as a synthesized observation, not a substitute for human criticism. We do not scrape review content or misrepresent sources.
